As potential tenants, we wanted to introduce ourselves and provide you with some background on who we are. We are currently renting our home in Salt Lake City, Utah, so we appreciate how it helps to know about the people who are about to live in your house.
We are a happily married couple who will be moving to Boston from Maine so Kristi can pursue her medical subspecialty training. We are a dual-income, dual-professional, and non-smoking family without children. Kristi is a medical doctor starting a three year fellowship at Beth Israel in July 2013. Eric is the owner of a successful international online marketing company (Finch) who works from home developing software.
When we moved to Maine the market was unfavorable to sell our well-maintained home in Utah, so we found tenants and have been renting ourselves in Maine. We are active individuals and enjoy being outdoors and exercising. We also look forward to taking in the many cultural events the city has to offer. Kristi starts work July 1, 2013 so we are looking to move anytime between May 1 and July 1, 2013. We have rental references as well as references from the Doggy Daycare we take our dogs to when we are away.
We do have animals and understand how this can be a concern as a landlord. We want to make you comfortable with them and would be happy to arrange a meeting with our pets and to provide references regarding their demeanor. We have two female dogs; both are mature and housebroken. One is a lab mix and the other is a border collie mix. They are very mellow and mainly lay around the house while Eric works. We take them on daily runs for exercise. We also have a housebroken female cat who uses an automatic self cleaning litterbox. Our cat does not claw or mark and is well behaved.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a 3+ bedroom (or two bedroom plus an office) 1.5+ bathroom that we can stay in for the next three years with a lease starting sometime between May 1, 2013 and July 1, 2013. We are very interested in Cambridge and would love to be close to Fresh Pond. We are also interested in Brookline, Jamaica Plain, Waltham, Newton, Watertown, or any of the surrounding areas. We would like to have at least a small fenced area to let the dogs outside. Ideally, we would like at least one covered parking spot, but understand that parking is a premium in the city. Easy access to public transportation would be appreciated. We anticipate that homes we would be interested would be somewhere in the $2,250-$4,500 range. We look forward to meeting you and determining if we are a match for each other!
